Refund Policy
General Policy:
We operate under a “No Refunds” policy for contributions to ensure the transparency and finality of donations. However, we acknowledge that there are exceptional circumstances under which a reversal of transactions may be necessary. Such instances are typically limited to Chargeback and Gross Error transactions.
Chargeback Transactions:
A chargeback occurs when a credit card holder disputes a charge through their bank, claiming that the transaction was unauthorized or unrecognized. If a chargeback claim is validated, we will promptly issue a refund for the disputed transaction to comply with credit card network rules and maintain customer trust.
Gross Error Transactions:
A Gross Error transaction is identified when the amount charged is significantly different from what was intended by the donor. For example, if a donation intended as $10.00 is mistakenly processed as $10,000.00. Donors must report such discrepancies to us within five (5) days from the date of the transaction. Upon verification, we will rectify the error by processing a refund or correcting the donation amount as appropriate. This ensures that unintended funds are not wrongfully allocated or spent.
